Faith Jones heads up Community Outreach for the Message in Canada. She develops and implements initiatives to increase awareness and build partnerships with schools and community groups in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Her work is vital in connecting Canadian youth with media literacy and social emotional skills through the Message’s programs.
In addition to her networking talents, Faith’s drive and passion for educating young people make her an asset to the Message. She has worked with youth for 15+ years, founding and instructing children’s gymnastics and teen fitness programs at a nonprofit recreation club. Most recently she has instructed yoga and mindfulness practices to support the mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing of youth in underserved communities across the GTA.
Faith graduated from George Brown College with a Fitness and Health Management Diploma and studied Entrepreneurship at the University of Toronto. She also holds a Nonprofit and Voluntary Management Certificate from Ryerson University. She has done extensive volunteer work in her community and abroad including climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the MS Society of Canada, running many races including a half-marathon to support Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario and building houses in the GTA and Costa Rica for Habitat For Humanity.
